I bought a pair of hickory sticks from this company. He makes bokkens too.

  The grappling arts imply most fights end up on the ground. The striking arts imply all fights start standing up. The clinching arts imply the clinch can stop the striker from striking, and the grappler from taking it to the ground. The weapon arts imply the they can stop the unarmed man. A complete martial art implies any fight can go anywhere...be ready and able to go everywhere.

You should check out Michael Enad. He custom made some work for us to fine specifications. His web site is http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/R...37//index.html . Michael's stuff is made to fight with. Check out the PAcific War Club. Anyway, he doesn't "make" bokkens, but he can do custom work. I remember he only used to make wooden kris and dagger, but now he's got the flatstick, so maybe he can make bokkens as well.
