  • Lao-Lan Martial Arts, Pennsylvania U.S.A.

Greetings to you all brothers in martial arts,
I am thankful to be included in this forum, I am also a Lao-Lan
practitioner way back in the '70's in Manila, Philippines. We
respect all kinds of martial artist and their schools because
we believed that any kind of martial arts are good and dependable as long as the practitioner knows how to use it
properly for protection against the weak and not to start a trouble
    at all.
you may send me a note and let us have a good and respectful
kind of discussions at any time.
You may call me "SALUBONG" or kuya AL
Salamat at magandang gabi sa lahat.

Welcome to the board Kuya Al.

I am not a Filipino Martial Artist, but am interested in the Filipino martial arts. I am an amateur kick boxer (muay thai) and boxing practicioner.

How often do you practice? What are the strengths of Lao-Lan martial arts and how do you train?

    Salamat Po!

      to brother TOM YUM

hi brother Tom, I won't mind if I addressed you as brother but just
to inform you...that is one of our practices in the circle of the Lao-Lan Philippines by our martial arts master....brother Charlie Villanueva. Anyway, to answer your question about our practice with the art, we practice regorously, not daily, but sincerely.
we practice with pain delivered to our body by our fellow student
with out hesitation, regret and countering attacks with full focus,
smoothness with the combination of softness and harness way.
