Hi guys,
I just wanted to announce that my new Lameco Eskrima website and forum is up now, although the official start date is on September 25, 2003. This would have been Punong Guro Sulites 46th birthday!!! and it is the 22nd anniversary of Lameco Eskrima!!!.
I`ve wanted to do this for some time now but the time was never quite right, well the time has come and for those interested the URL is:
The site is dedicated to the memory of Punong Guro Edgar G. Sulite and was developed to further promote Lameco Eskrima to future generations. For any Lameco or Pilipino Warrior art enthusiasts alike the rammifications for this site are huge. I want everyone to know that this is not meant to be a site about me but rather it belongs to the whole of the Lameco Eskrima International Brotherhood. It is our site; all former students of PG Sulites` and Lameco Eskrima from any era of training are encouraged to participate in the site and the forum. As students of Punong Guro Sulite and Lameco we all have a voice on this site and we all have something to say. I want all eras of Lameco Eskrima from its earliest origins in 1981 to its maturity in 1997 to have a place where we can all come together in the name of our Founder and Chief Instructor, Punong Guro Edgar G.Sulite and allow ourselves the opportunity to grow, fellowship and unify the Brotherhood of Lameco Eskrima.
I have tons of questions for some of the more senior Students of Punong Guro Sulite as i`m sure do many. This is our opportunity to bring this to fruition all for the good of Lameco Eskrima. In addition its an opportunity to keep Punong Guro Sulites name in the forefront of the Pilipino Warrior art genre where it deserves to be. For all of of our friends from different styles and disciplines you are all more than welcome to visit, contribute, learn and grow with us. There will be many interesting articles written by some of Punong Guro Sulites most prestigeous students on the articles page covering various aspects of combat. As well there is a techniques page up with the intention of bringing various scenarios and Pilipino combative movement to a better understanding.
Pull up the site guys and delve into its content and you will better understand what my intentions and desires are with the website. I hope to see you all on the Forum, and for Lameco Eskrima students feel free to introduce yourselves to your Brothers on the Forum and feel free to ask any questions or share your views about PG Sulite or Lameco Eskrima, you should get many varying yet interesting responses.
