Statistically, the majority of edged weapons used in murders are normal everyday kitchen knives or screwdrivers........

In fact, I read somewhere that expensive knives didn't even make the list.......who'd want to get a $500 knife bloodied?!?

If you want to see some good, simple designs check out STRIDER knives. They have jimping on the pommel for an ice pick grip. I hadn't seen that before. They have a good way of drilling holes for cord-wraps and instructions on wrapping. Try that on your Tracker, it will look and feel great with a cord handle and will afford better balance for throwing if your into that.

I guess I better start carrying around a screwdriver.

I don't either see the point in buying an expensive knive... fact is you might have to throw it away quickly after using it......

I always feel justified if I'm spending less than $60 and the quality is superb. Might have to throw it away, but if I use a blade, I'm going to make sure the law is on my side before drawing.
