How is silat stick fighting compared to escrima? Is it similar and have there been any competitions between stick fighters from silat and FMA? Thank you

No problem.

I also think they are good techniques, blocking or hitting
the hand istead of the stick.
In the first video they show movements that are similar to
those of Silat knife, the only difference is that you cannot
let the attacking stick or machete flow by so
easily without getting cut or hit, that's why they block
and counter it.
