KIC: Sherwinc doesn't react to post that disprove his statements, instead he just mentions his statements again ( and again and again and again and.....)
Hoping that they will become true if he repeats them often enough

Example, Karate only does A, reply But we do/did B,C and D too, reply of Sherwinc: Karate only does A

Also Sherwinc is a creationist, what was once shall never change, Martial artist will alway be worse than their teacher, they can NOT evolve
(using that argument any KF style is inferiour to Shaolin KF because that was the base from which all others stem

Last thing in Karate the teacher will say this is a block, in his KF style his teacher doesn't even tell him what a movement is at all, he just has to make them up along the way

He claims to have defeated other stylists but under what rules, full contact, light contact, free style, what?
Under some rules, any time the glove touches the oponent's body, it is a point even if it could never do any harm at all, techniques that have even less power than a backfist ( non turning) strike

    • did he smack u up and down if u DID hit him hard?
No, we are supposed to hit him hard. In turn we eventually let lower belts hit us once our training gets to that level. We're bare knuckle so if you can't take a hit to the body you can't train effectively. Higher the rank the harder the hit. Also the belief that hitting a body is better than punching air.

Hey guy incognito the fat guys center is way to high.

although i have some knowledge in Seventh Star Praying Mantis.....

the picture that you see Guy Incognito post is the Southern Style Praying Mantis, it is a short ranged form of chinese martial arts, and short ranged hand techniques is their experties..... while in Seventh Star Praying Mantis their expertise is in the Grabbing techniques....

so you see? this is one of the example of a hidden/secret attack apparatus of every unique kungfu arts.....

just like us, the obervants says that we ChiDianBunKungFu hit our opponent using our twin palms but it is not..... what i mean is our phoenix eye fist does hit the opponents chest and not palm as an illusion to the eye of the observant......

it all relies to the fastest switching of hands.....

does the theory of the magician.... hands are faster than eyes

that karate is always a karate, even if it revised for a thousand of times, still it is considered a karate and even that kyukoshin all of their alphabets is always an alphabets - it could never form to words, if it could never form into words then you could not also form it into sentences to conversation

it is always a karate, all karate moves is like a straight line with a beginning and has an ending...

                while....

kungfu moves is like a circle, after you draw a circle, you could not know where is the beginning and where it would be end......

the picture that you post here is an form of elbow stroke.....

in Chi Dian Bun Kungfu, it has a 20 unique elbow alphabets.... but my teacher teach us only 10 unique elbow alphabets of attack

those 20 unique elbow is in the form of Kata(set pattern) in execution. The kata stepping is traveled in a straight in while executing 10 unique elbow attacks, the other remaining 10 unique attacks of elbows is we did not learn...

we have also 10 unique very very low kicks in the form of kata but i learn only 3 uniques kicks of Chi Dian Bun.....

That technique looks very similar to NCK sam chien basic form elbow strike.

omg this guy gets more and more vague with each post. stop making analogies and start posting facts. stop with the alphabet this and alphabet that. how about researching something? do your homework. give me something back that is actually relevant and knowledgable instead of interperative.

a circle start when it is drawn and ends at the beginning. O when a line - actually doesnt have an ending. im not saying that all karate is completely linear by the way. come on sherwinc im still waiting for you to convince me.

Like I said, you don't react to post that disprove you and keep writing the same nonsense about karate based on your very limited knowledge of it.

I tried to show you where your line of thinking is flauwed and that you obvious miss knowledge about Chinese Okinawan relations

I tried to show you forms aren't performed step by step but combination by combination ( maybe with exception of Shotokan and Shotokai)

You have 20 elbow alphabets ....OK but then we have about as much roundhousekicks but lets face it, you can considder every slight variation as a seperate technique but why would you? Just to complicate things more?
Example from Judo, an Ippon Seoi naga isn't that much different from Seoi nage hence in the Kodokan system it is taught as a variation to (apart frrom the arm there is no difference to the bodymovement)

Karate doesn't make sentences? Shure but Kyokushin ( and other contact based styles like it) shure can make confersation
Maybe instead of being presented with readdy made sentences, it is wiser to spend more time on learning grammar and talking to eachother

If communicating is the object, isn't time better spend doing that, even if the result is crommy use of the language, like to newcomers to the US from different countries still learning english, they understand eachother

Kyokushin karateka might not use the language to the fullest but they shure can fight, just enter one of their tournaments and see, the fighting chamionships are always open to all styles
As nice your language might be, their strong oneliners will put you down (oh how I love metaphores)

(Should have spellchecked, is full of typos and mistakes)

Hey Toudiyama you can’t convince a Schizophrenic that the voices are just in his head just like you can’t talk any sense or logic to sherwinc. He disregards all truth and logic and continues to spew forth his antiquated Dark Age ideologies and nonsensical philosophies.

No matter what anyone says he’ll say the opposite. He truly does not understand martial arts and the science of fighting if he did he would pull his head out of the sand and understand there more to it than alphabets and complicated forms and techniques. He cannot see the beauty of simplicity. She stopped making sense before her first post here. Honestly I think she’s an alien!

yes, when you draw a circle it has a beginning but when you completed to draw that circle, you dont know where it begins and where it ends....

                              example:
in a big letter " O " , can you guess if where it begins or where it ends in this letter O?

just like in TaiChiChuan.... once you start execute the form, there's no pause by pause or stop by stop motion, you could not tell where it begins or ends in every hand and feet attacks inside its form, if you can't, then how can you defend it???????

                              CONVINCED???????

yes, maybe wingchun can't tell where it begins or ends but thru their ChiSau(stickinghands theory) sensitivity of the bridge forearm can autopilot and not the will of the mind or eyes.....

this is the same theory and concept in chidianbun kungfu but instead of using chisau, chidianbun kungfu has a WalkingHand moves just to counter that awesome moves of taichichuan.....

                              CONVINCED??????

Angka kungfu, Tonglong Kungfu, other kungfu - they have their own unique counter to that too.....

but the non-kungfu martial arts has no, and stupid...... they only fight by force by force and no emphasize of defensive moves......

                              CONVINCED???????
