4 (four) fights were under K1 rules. e.g. Bonjaski (K1 2004 world Champ lost against Filho.
3 (three) fights were under Kyokushin rules.
Kyoukushin Team WON all of them.
Which part did you understand?

You are missing the point:
Kyokushin Karate Team great sucess over K1 fighters has proved that I am correct.
My point about how Karate can work is a valid one.
I knew all along that there were sucessfull Karatekas in K1.
Their transition to K1 format is easy because Karate has all the tools and preparation towards such fighting format. It is just a question of fine tuning to a new competitve environment.
As paid MMA events like K1 are getting more popular and acessible around the world, I am expecting to see a lot more MA Teams (from lot of different backgrounds) competing.
Once again, I would like to mention MA are like cars. Do not blame the car for the accident. Blame the driver. After all a tree is a tree, a bad Martial artist is just a bad martial artist.
While, you would judge Karate as a useless MA.
Such event proved you were wrong.

P.S Do not bother to reply if it is just to make fun. This is MA forum where we discuss MA stuff. IF you do have any constructive and intelligent inputs, what is the point really?

Kid's are often misguided and duped into a false sence of security which can be dangerous!
Being a King of Kata means nothing when you have to bare knuckle fight!

Well I'm still not convinced forms as a tool are useless
It's just that applications should presede the form not the other way around like it happens to be in almost every TMA, the applications changed but the forms never grew with it, they changed yes but in the opposite direction, it became a tool to learn the basics therefore the appearand was changed to fit that and from there people tried to make applications using the exact techniques of the present forms

Luckely guys like Ashihara hideyuki saw this and got rid of the old forms and created new ones, which are practical again
