    Strangulations. mmmmmmm...good

Much nicer and more effective than trying to punch at close range

Did you get to do bloodchokes? Those are my favorite, hurt like hell though. Passing out through strangulation is peaceful compared to the panic and pain felt in bloodchokes.

My friend (in his fifties) is a judo yudansha. He was showing some stuff after "McKarate" class (I asked him) No names though.

      What's a bloodchoke?

Heh, I think I finally understand okinawan punching, at least as far as I've read (by understand I mean can do the basic motion) it's rather complicated, but feels a lot more effective than the McPower of Nakayama's shotokan. It's really really natural too. It uses similiar principles to a boxing punch, except it's designed for bare knuckle fighting, so it isn't exactly the same.

Killed two birds with one stone

EDIT: Is a blood choke a choke which attacks the SIDES of the neck, as opposed to the center? He showed me a very relaxed choke, but it really hurt.

A bloodchoke is any choke that prevents blood from reaching the brain...as opposed to preventing air.
What I meant though; As you wrap your arm around their neck, you put the knuckle of your thumb into the hollow under their jaw onto their carotid artery. This is different that using your forarm, and its painful, even when practicing. It works very fast though, and the pain usually keeps them distracted enough to get it to work.
