I did some Karate with no contact, and I would like to try something to give me more feel of a fight, not only touches. But on the other hand TKD classes I took in the university were too much contact -- I'm closer to thin than muscular and we were using no gear, so I didn't enjoy that.
Is there any middle ground? Schools or styles that offer some contact but not full-contact? I would definitely not like being the only one in a group to wear protective pads...
