Have you ever seen a guy in a ninja unforim in the mall or anything?

My friend who does Shotokan is not afraid to wear his GI anywhere. He doesnt train in a formal school really either, but his instructor teaches him privately and he meets with me to spar a lot. He is pretty good for a brown belt. But its funny once he told me he wore his hakama pants and a white headband and his black gi top and held a bokon at the mall while wearing asian looking sandles to wait for his friends.

I am NEVER caught in public wearing my Gi. It's just stupid and pretentious. I've started fights with morons who do that and telling them it's wrong for them to be doing that and they should stop, because I'm a nice guy and the next dude might not be 140lbs and might just strangle him to death.

I think I've worn my Gi once in public, and it was a tournament outside in the park.

I'll save you some money... for $15 + S&H, I'll make you a nifty certificate on my computer and print it off and send it to you.

Or you could just make one for yourself.
