hs anyone seen any of the paintings attributed to him? I have only seen a pic of one in a Buddhist book, it was entitled "the sword saint Hotei observes two roosters sparring" it was the black and white watercolor style that is famous I cant think of the name for the style of painting in Japanese, anyone else know or seen anything by him?

I was fortunate to see the originals at a special Musashi exhibition at the Edo-Tokyo Museum when I was in Japan. They didn't have his actual swords, but they had many weapons of the era.

WOW thanks for the site! I couldnt find anything close to that!, I saw a scene in a movie with Toshiro Mifune I think ( dont know if it was Kurosawa) where he is carving on a wood block, I wonder if the idea for that scene came from that statue?
