  • Ninjutsu MMA?

This is really bothering me. When i was 10 i did jujutsu for 3 years. At 14 i did ninjutsu and quit just 2 months ago, im 17 now. Anyway now ive been training with my Dads friend in Jeet kune do, and i have to say i quite enjoy it. Anyhow
id say despite the way ive quit a lot im a good fighter and have proven this many times on the street. When people ask me what martial art i do, what do i say?, and do u think i should write the techniques down i have learned?
    Thankyou.

Seriously, I'm not an antisemetic, two of my best friends are Jews (one's a convert...so I don't think he counts...but he has a star of david tattoo...so maybe)

just tell them that thats none of their business. dont go around bragging about the various martial arts you know, because when someone kicks your ass, then they will rub it in your face.

Ask them what they think you did and then simply say they are right no matter what they say, giving them kuddos that they can see that

Judo know if I got a gun.

                      Or Italian Karate...
wherein your "associates" hold the guy as you kick the shit out of them like Joe Pesci.

This is the most accurate statement. How can you ever consider yourself understanding even the basics of any art if you only ever spend 2 - 3 years in it. You aren't learning an art, you're meerely learning a handful of techniques that you'll soon be performing incorrectly. It takes 10 - 15 years to really ever begin to understand an art.

I would say "I have lightly dabbled in a few arts, but haven't chosen one as of yet. Is there one you recommend?"

be modest. say your not very good at one of the styles you train in. people usually want to fight you when you sound like your bragging or really good.
