    Here's the fence by them:

        All 3 systems use this throw plus just about every other MA System. Easy t do and a lot of fun. don't teach it to your wife though.

          I'd like to discuss the standing rear naked strangle and how to prevent/ defeat the shoulder throw defense shown in the video...

          (anyone?)

          Thanks kindly!

            As taught to me in BJJ, you would break the persons base first before applying the choke. Pull them backwards by the shoulders and push down behind their knee with your foot. Thus this defense wouldn't work under those circumstances. I think this is more for a brawler who simply grabs you round the neck from behind. The defense against the version I described, or one possible defense, is to simply drive them backwards and hope it's into something that will make them let go.

            I never really liked the standing choke from behind anyway. If the person has their back to you I can think of simpler ways of taking them out, like with a bar stool for example.

              Backfist to the groin;
              Grab the forearm trying to get you fingers between his forarm and your neck;
              Same time - turn you had to get you chin in the "v" made by his forarm and bicept;
              stomp on his instep and keep hammering on his groin; headbutt his nose and on and on and on, then,
              throw him with the same shoulder throw (ippon seoi nage); stomp something and keep stomping til you get tired. Then say, THANX BUD.

              OR

              know your surrounding; stop the choke BEFORE he gets his arm around you neck.

              Defense the throw? Like most throws, keep/make distance between his body and your body. Just put your palm against his butt/waistline and push him away (forward) and keep this small distance constant. or;

              Fish hook his eyes with both hands/fingers - pull his head backwards using his eyeballs., or;

              simple step around and throw him instead; or ---------------
