  • Any one know about this style of Karate?

Does anyone know about this style, Hakutsuru Fukasa-Ryu Karate or "Profound White Crane Empty-Handed Art". It is supposed to have a lot of Crane in it and it is from Okinawa(maybe it is more like Crane Kung Fu) . I was thinking it is related to Go Ju Ryu, but just finding out about the style, I heard they don't do Sanchin (which I believe is a core Go Ju Ryu Kata). Well if anyone knows what the style is like, please let me know.

There is an article in the dec 2007 Black Belt magazine. It is titled "The Roots of White Crane" it is on page 118. Unless you subcribe you will not be able to get the December issue until next month.

Thanks for the heads up, I will look out for the artical. I saw something in one of the magazines out now, it was about Okinawan Karate, but pretty much was just about the history. It did not say anything about the style I was looking for, or too much about anyothers next to Go Ju.
