A compilation of the animated GIF's from www.freebudo.com, in order as a clearer video representation of the techniques in the Kata. One of my favourite kata'...
Your pohilosophy on stand up, take down and ground game is just full of holes.
Like a small net with missing strings and broken knots...
Good luck keeping the toothy monsters at bay with that.
Your headline should be in your signature.
No holes here, at least I have a pohilosophy! It may not be for you, but it's perfect for me. And I'm not borrowing from someone else. I think my three elements would do just fine against the holes that are missing your style,(old man).
For empty handed combat, the three elements (STAND UP, TAKE DOWN, and GROUND) are more than just a few ISOTOPES. They are what makes a wellrounded CHAMPION in the ring and on the street!(old man).

LOL As you were DSA... The old man is just yanking your chain.
I think unarmed "combat" is an oxymoron and rarely a serious threat. When you use the word it's in refrence to the game (sport). Are you an athlete? Artist? Competitor? Instructor? Professional?

I think you are over analyzing my theory of the three elements. The word combat in my world of martial arts simply means survival. Rules are only found in competion! I am an Artist, a Competitor, and sometimes Instructor. Judo is my art of choice right now, but I've been a student off and on for well over 20 years. Karate and Jujitsu for over ten years. I am no spring chicken, but I'm definitely not an (old man)!
