Let me preface this by saying I've only studied Muay Thai for a while so I know little about grappling.
I'm thinking of taking up judo but I read that without wearing a gi a lot of the throws don't work. I contacted a few clubs in Dublin,Ireland but none of them teach no-gi judo. Would it be possible to use chin-na style muscle grabbing techniques to help execute judo throws when your opponent isnt wearing a gi. I'd imagine it would hurt like hell. Any thoughts?
