    RE:- I desperately need help

    HI. Hope this helps!
If you are using weight as part of your training then use only really light ones, increase the reps` and lift them quickly. Heavy weights add muscle mass which slows you down.
When kicking or punching only use a heavy bag for a few strikes and always end a bag session with a speed ball or even punch/kick the air at least as many times as you hit the heavy bag as quick as you can.
Training with heavy weights and a heavy bag looks impressive and can build muscle which looks good but it also promotes slow muscle fibres to grow which makes you slower and more prone to tiring sooner. You want more fast twitch fibres so train light and fast. This is part of the reason boxers use a speed ball regularly esp after a heavy bag! Remember muscle has a memory so make it work how you want it to.
For more info try looking up how 100 mtr sprinters, boxers train/eat, you might learn something new.
    All the best for now.

I couldnt agree with shukokai more..i would just be careful not to over extend your arms which has a habit of happening when using lighter weights...good luck

        Try cutting off your balls.

          Hi,

Try working with cables instead of lifting heavy free weight. It will strengthen your minor muscles and won't make you bulky. Your muscles will get cut, but not bulky.

          Best wishes.

            light weight more reps fast

train with arnis sticks and learn a lot of drills, they tone arm muscles and definitely burn off the calories

                another thing,
bruce had very dense muscle. that's what made him so ripped, fast, and didnt' sacrifice any speed for his power. he was incredibly strong for as little muscle mass that he had. but because his muscle was so dense, he got toned, faster and stronger all at the same time.
to do that, use lower weights, with higher faster reps
                like shukokai said

Yup...What they said was good stuff. But, I would just have to tell you that being "toned" has little to do with the weights you do. It is just the level of fat that you carry. So if you want to get cut. Then you have to do your cardio or high intensity interval training and have a good clean diet

Can somebody explain why you want to life faster? I am not sure the benefit of that but would love to learn and possibly add that to my routine. Thanks!

if you lift fast and heavy, you do a power training; your muscles will still be relatively compact, but you will have more power. If you do slow and heavy, your muscles will buggle and you will be slower.

It is to train the body to move faster. You need to train how you wish to perform.

Punching is fast, so move quickly.
                            Sprinters sprint
distance runners do long slow distance.

Right, I train with speed on drills and such but I have never heard of that with lifting. Thanks for the input.
