I'd suggest Ronin Combat Athletics: http://www.roninathletics.com/
Ronin is affiliated with Matt Thorton's Straight Blast Gym and the head instuctor, Christian Montes, is very skilled and knowledgable. Plus, the price is right and the quality high.

You forgot to mention that he was an instructor at Anderson's Martial Arts. It's really sad when people forget or ignore where they came from. I don't think that was Christian's intention, or yours. But I could be wrong.

I train at the SBG in New York, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. If you're interested in coming down, the first class is free. You can just chill and watch or participate.
If you have some questions, e-mail Christian Montes at jkdronin@hotmail.com or myself at mets202@aol.com
The website is www.roninathletics.com
El Maestro,
I go to school in the Bronx, and there are a couple good places within easy subway distance (provided that you are on the west side, otherwise you'll have to make some transfers). The SBG and Renzo's are straight down the 1/9.
