    Also, Yip Man wasn't Bruce Lee's master. Bruce Lee was the type of guy to look out for number 1. He wasn't about "protecting" the arts. He was about exposing them. Exploiting them. He wanted to make money. He wanted to be a great martial artist by trying different things. Keep in mind, martial arts were his life. He had a lot of money and his job was martial arts. He could spend a lot more time philosophising and disecting individual styles than you or I can.

    I believe from research that his real goal in forming JKD was to define a path of self-discovery for himself. Bruce Lee would probably be more proud of guys like Randy Couture, Ken Shammrock, Vanderlai Silva and Kazushi Sakuraba than 90% of the people today who practice JKD. Because I believe he would see them as "true" practioners of JKD.
