Roy sent me all my tapes, and also sent me a free copy of his "1999 Heel Hook Seminar" tape to make up for my long wait. I just thought I'd let everyone know how well he took of care of the issue.
And by the way, I haven't watched all of the tapes yet, but they are great. He has great production, good sound and color. It's all laid out in a very intelligent manner, and he doesn't pad the tape with repeats of the same move. Mr. harris uses several different people of varying physical size to illustrate the moves, which allows you to see a big guy do it to a little, or vice versa..this may not seem so helpful..but when you start stretching to get your instep under a guy's knees, and can't reach, it can be helpful to see how roy handles the situation.
I like the tapes. I even have text documentation (free info on his web site) to help me with the information on the video.my money was well spent. I'm fairly certain it was duchman that recommended these? I like em.
They are basic however. Perfect for me, but maybe not for someone else. However, I've heard that even advanced students benefit from roy's tapes, just because they have an intelligible curriculum of principles and application.
I'm certain to buy his arm lock video, as well. I'll let you know how I like it when I get around to it. I still hav eto buy the fighter's notebook and the thornton aliveness tapes first.
