  • GrandMaster Tony Somera in Wichita Falls, TX. April 28-29

    Hello Guys,
We are very proud to have GrandMaster Tony Somera, the current head of Bahala Na scheduled for a seminar in Wichita Falls, TX.
G.M. Somera inhereted Bahala Na from the famous GrandMaster Leo Giron. G.M. Giron is famous for his expliots during W.W. II and is one of Guro Dan Inosanto's personal "heros". it's hard in today's world to get such a close look at such a legendary system. It just doesn't get more prestigious than this organization.
We are proud to have G.M. Somera coming to teach and we invite each of you to attend and gain a deeper insite into this legendary system.

Cool. I'm not sure if I can make it or not, but I'll certainly try.

      Harley,
If you can send flyers, I'll post them at the school, and I'll be damned if Pat and Chuck are going to be there without me this go around.
      I'll talk to you later.

        hey mike,
I just talked to G.M. Somera and we discussed many things, he seems to be a great guy. We talked about Manong Giron and some of his battles, the first time he tasted human blood, his service in WWII, and the fact that Guro Inosanto's mother trained with them under the day she passed away, in her 80's! he has a ton of great stories and as for the art, well it's definately combat proven.
        sincerely,

Sounds like a pretty incredible guy, and an awesome system. I can't wait to see it! By the way, very classy response on the Dr. Gyi post that was going around. That kind of thing is a shame, and I think that more of us need to judge people by what they have contributed and what they continue to contribute. I just wanted to say thanks for continuing to set an example.
