"It was about that time I realized that searching was my symbol, the emblem of those who go out at night with nothing in mind, the motives of a destroyer of compasses." -Cortázar
I can't believe it. I am still in shock over this. My prayers and thoughts are with his wife Debra and all his students. Larry was a true friend and a pioneer in the martial arts world. He is the reason I am where I am today. Without him I would not have been able to have trained with some of the people I have trained with. He taught me so much about fighting and about the martial arts. He will be greatly missed. I have truly lost a great friend and a mentor.
I was very sad to hear the news. I've known Larry since 1985 and have had a lot of great times training and hanging out with him. He's always been more than helpful and always wanting to help with my development.
My thoughts go out to Debra, his family, friends and students throughout the world.
RIP Larry. You were a pioneer, a great inspiration, and an extraordinary teacher. Condolences to your friends, fans, family, and students. You will be missed.
