Poe was a Marine in Korea, and left service due to a shrapnel injury. This injury eventually led to his demise in 1993. His colleague, Mr. Bygum was one of the original frogmen, a Navy UDT swimmer. To say that these men knew nothing of combat is insane, especially coming from a non-military, non-law-enforcement pogue. Moving on to the ones who are still there.

Bob Bremer and Jim Sewell are self-described bikers who worked the bars in Barstow. I've been there. if they indeed worked where they say they did, they know all about fighting. As some of the regulars here are aware, I was also a bouncer for many years, and those lessons are some of the most enlightening of my entire martial life. I have no doubts that fighting swarms of people, drunks, and cocky Naval Infantrymen (sorry all you Marines out there...I couldn't pass it up) taught them many of the same lesson I learned, and more.

Bremer has a well-known reputation for being a fighter way back when Bruce Lee was alive. Nuff said.

Tim Tackett was deployed to Taiwan, which is hardly comparable to doing JROTC time stateside. And if you've never been sent away to another country by your government (and I mean in any capacity, let alone for three years) then you have no right - none whatsoever - to run your mouth and slander the service of those who have. Further, Tim Tackett studied under or with Bob Bremer, Dan Lee, Richard Bustillo, Jerry Poteet, and Pete Jacobs. Later Chris Kent, Ted Lucay Lucay, and Jeff Imada. Franco: you saying those guys suck?

Now, and this is a big point for me, the group of men you are trash-talking are around or beyond the 60-year-old mark. What do you want from them? Should they be slamming each other to the ground every night? Should they be going full-tilt-boogie with heavy rattan, or blasting each other in the face? Here's where you show that you're a puppy, Rudy. These men have earned the right to train what they enjoy. They've done their fighting, and survived their battles. They've worn uniforms and collected their scars. The reason they know they can fight is because they have, and in so doing, they probably learned a lesson that appears to escape you completely. They learned that there's always someone better out there, and walking around trying to be a badass is a good way to meet that person in the most unfortunate of ways. You insult this group of men who've seen and done everything you aspire to like they've never walked the ground you have, to date, been unable or unwilling to walk. Where have you served, Rudy? Does your authority to criticize come from the certificate on your wall, or the shrapnel in your spine?

I think, after looking over both websites, that the real issue is far removed from anyone's taste in jokes or business models. Someone wiser than I once said the things you tend to find the most difficulty with in others are the very issues you need to deal with in yourself. You could have been a man about this and dealt with Tim Tackett and his group man to man. You chose instead to pull a stunt akin to a political campaign. You could have left it alone, knowing that all parties involved had read your manifesto. You could have lived up to your own bullshit and let it go. Tim Tackett obviously did. You've come across like an adolescent, temper-tantrum-throwing, wet behind the ears puppy. That was made worse still by running to your instructor in a modern-day, keyboard warrior version of "My Daddy can beat up your Daddy." Like it or not, you've handled yourself badly, and you've made a mockery of all the things you hoped would make you look good. What's worse, you're probably still sitting in your chair trying to convince yourself that all this is being said by someone who just doesn't know you or how you train. This isn't about who's better, who can fight, or who can teach. It's not about martial arts at all, really.

It's about manners, class, and basic respect. You've shown precious little of any of them.
Bert Poe and Sonny Bygum are dead and are not the the driving force behind the so called WNG anymore. Tackett's senior students have left him. What is he left with Tim Tackett's WNG. We left Bob Bremer out of it and Sewel's in Tenn. not worrying about it.

"Tim Tackett studied under or with Bob Bremer, Dan Lee, Richard Bustillo, Jerry Poteet, and Pete Jacobs. Later Chris Kent, Ted Lucay Lucay, and Jeff Imada." Franco: you saying those guys suck?"

Are they members of the WNG? No they are not, so where is the connection.

The service issue has been addressed.

You don't know shit about me, I don't have any certificates hanging on a wall, just promotions in a folder somewhere. But a piece of paper won't help you in the street anyway.

Blah, blah, blah keyboard warrior Blah, blah, blah Daddy blah blah blah shoulda woulda coulda blah blah blah silence is not innocence Blah blah blah I buy into the propaganda Blah blah blah

                What battles has Tackett survived?

The only scars he has are from shaving. You are out of your f***ing mind.

I know you have to show strong for the other punks but **** you and anybody else who doesn't like my methods or ways. You had your minds made up long ago, either way what's done is done.

What I posted is just the tip of the iceberg. Hey, Tackett let's not forget I turned your instructorship down when I was a mere green belt. What was that six-seven years ago?

So what is our motivation money? Fame? Converts? How about the truth, because remember, we don't teach JKD. You are all a bunch of ill informed clowns grasping at straws and defending a lost cause. The WNG is through.

                      With who, Rudy or Tackett?

                      neither.

but i have seen both websites, and i have to say, as an example of a martial arts instructor under the dreaded and deadly lloyd kennedy, its obvious that being in shape isnt a requirement for instructorship under him. I have to wonder exactly how long Rudy had to stay down on Lloyd to get the "senior instructorship"..lol

now lets wait for Rudy to tell us that in spite of his obesity, he is an in shape badass mf and will, no doubt, kick my ass if I come to Cali...lol.

IT'S ABOUT YOUR COMPLETE LACK OF CLASS.

My God! You can't see what a "I took my own Mom to the Prom" vibe that puts out?

For someone who's supposed to be this self-defense wonder, you sure seem to lack the confidence of your convictions. Gotta consult with witnesses and friends and instructors before posting an explanation for your own points of view? Guess how many friends and instructors I consulted with.
                              Mike,

You don't know shit about me, I never went to finishing school and I quit my "class" class. My mom was in jail, so I took your mom to the prom after party and sold her for an eight ball of crank, to which she promptly demanded half. Never claimed to be a wonder and I am glad you like looking at my picture, it gets me all moist in my nether regions that I haven't seen in a long time. I don't have any convictions all the charges were dropped, your mom didn't press charges. None, because you don't have any. Seize the day, we can all carpool to Lloyd's for a BBQ, I love BBQ. How bout you, tough guys?
