  • Any Jeet Kune Do studios in my area?

Hey everyone, I live in the San Fernando Valley and I was just wondering if anyone here knows of any JKD studios in the san fernando valley (prefferably close to Northridge or Reseda). I have an extended experience in Tang Soo Do and I've been wanting to cross-train forever. So does anyone here know where there might be a JKD studio in my area?

    My friend,

I wish I lived where you live. You are a 30 minute car journey away from the greatest JKD school in the world - The Inosanto Academy of Martial Arts. Its about 20 miles down the 405, chuck a right and its there in Marina Del Rey.

Please don't reply and tell me that is too far - I fly 5,000 miles to train there.

Alain Rono is in that area. He's an associate instructor under Guro Dan in both Jun Fan and FMA. Additionally, he's an instructor in Combat Submission Wrestling under Erik Paulson, a black belt in Hapkido and a purple belt in bjj. On top of all that, he's a nice, all-around cool guy. I think you'd like training with him. His number is (818) 800-4900. J~

If you want quality JKD check out the Magda Institute in Reseda. Sifu Cass Magda was a student of Guru Dan's for years.
