You can start by reading the Tao Of Jeet Kune Do by Bruce Lee. I'm sure some here will disagree but it is a very good book.

There are many books and videos available to assist in your research but JKD is (in my amatuer opinion) about DOING. Not just reading or watching or talking.

You could learn to play the game of CHESS from books or video but strategy and tactics will vary from player to player...

The art of JKD is very much a "hands on" style of fighting. (And there is some diversity in training methods).

Without proper instruction there will be much missing from your training.

I would recommend books by Chris Kent, Tim Tackett, and the late great Sifu Larry Hartsell.

JKD kickboxing and Entering to trapping to grappling in particular.

There are some pro boxers from Estonia? I'm guessing it's part of the old Soviet Union or near that part of the world?

O.K. that was just a guess. I looked it up and it states you are in Northern Europe near Finnland.

              Yes thats true
In Estonia the most popular fighting arts are Boxing, Kickboxing, Karate and Judo.
We have here some other martial arts including the NINJAS
              But they arent so popular.

There are (as far as I know) two gyms in Estonia that are affiliated with Straight Blast Gyms Matt Thornton's branch of JKD).

3D TREENING Esileht (this one seems to be more of a BJJ/MMA-focused gym)

                    Hi There,

Here is a list of DVDs I like for JKD/personal protection/reality based MMA.
                    ...In no particular order:

1.Paul Vunak Steetfighting Series. They are a good set to start with for those who are interested in Pain-SB-HKE.
                    PFS Video Homepage

                    2. Vu's Engima DVD... for those who have a good understanding of his training methods.
Fighting.net - Executive PFS Jeet Kune Do, Martial Arts, Self Defense, and Street Fighting Training

                    3. StraightBlast Gym DVDs are excellent as well. Matt Thronton offers a terrific selection of DVDs. Don't think its all sports/MMA. His stuff is good for reality based folks as well.
SBGi - Straight Blast Gym International

                    4. The Inosanto Collection. You need to be able to follow what Guru is doing. Not for beginers but good those who understand the body mechanics of FMA and combat sports.
                    Inosanto Academy Home

                    5. Hock Hochhiem. If you want a good logical sequential series of stick/knive/empty hand that is doable for just about eveyone then Hock is your guy.
                    Hock Hochheim Main Page

                    6. I also like Demi Barbito. In the PFS line of training but Demi adds his own important concepts/skills to the self-preservation mix.
                    Welcome to the C.S.P.T.

                    7. I like Rick Fayes stuff. His DVDs are not high def but he offers some great stuff for those who want more.
..:::: MKG International ~ Rick Faye's Minnesota Kali Group (MNKali.com)::::..

Finally, If you are in Europe and want to train JKD, my advice is to sepnd a weekend with Michael Gruener. He is located in germany
                    Progressive Fighting Systems - Germany

                    Enjoy,
                    BK

Most of those who post here are MMA or JKD Consepts (Kali mixed with Ju Jitsu) guys. This forum is not particularly friendly to Original JKD.

I take it that you are interested in JKD as shown in the Tao by Bruce. That is the pathless path, and who can guide you there? No one.

But, the "Wedndsday Night Group" would be a place to start. But that is only a guidepost not a destination.

Your WC is a good start. Try adjusting your WC stance to the strong side forward JKD stance. Right away you will see how you can add hip rotation (just before impact pivit your hip tward the target) for a huge increase in side kick power. Next, try working with a good boxing coach. JKD is very compatable with boxing.

Take all advice regarding JKD with a grain of salt.

                          Storm is comming

Hardball gave you good advice: all beginns with the Tao. But that will only wettent your apetitite. This is a life long jurney,. If that is too much, then you are not fit.

Keep your head down brother, the storm is still raging. You live in ther zone.

Yes that is true i want to lern original JKD.
I live in a tuff country and here is nearly impossible to ovoid fights and it is good if you know how to protect yourself. I dont seek fights but fights sometimes find me. But actually Martial Arts are for me more like a life style.
