You can make some feeble attempt at contributing to the thread without dragging it into the quagmire again.

    Thank you.

"Ecenomy of motion" is one of the fundamental principles of JKD but it is not UNIQUE to JKD or WC. Other southern and northers styles of Kung fu also follow the same basic principles.
I don't see Tiger Claw as half the distraction to good discussion and debate as some other people. Let him post. He is actually talking about martial arts as he sees them, and that's more than we can say for some other miscreants that are allowed to unchecked for numerous violations and infractions.

Sorry, but I'm with Tant01 on this one. Invading every topic and repeating the same (odd) points about your own art, isn't a great contribution. imo.

Well, actually your right. NOTHING about JKD is unique or new. Bruce Lee even said that. He did not "discover" a new style or system. He studied already well accomplished systems and applied the best parts of them to fit his physical and mental attributes.

That's what JKD is.... "Absorb what is useful"

I'm just curious... how many people involved this topic have actually read the Tao of Jeet Kune Do???

Reading is one thing... DOING is another thing...

Hmmmm, the passive-aggressive attitude of a snippy but less than confident haus-frau. Very appropriate.

I'm all for the free entertainment. This place is a mad house. I'm just really growing weary of all the flaming. And the fanning of the flames.

                I need a break, LOL

Al TigerClaw talks about is his version of TCMA and how he interprets things that he doesn't fully understand.
