Trevor Clarkson and his CFG group are superb. Trevor is one of Paul Vunak's oldest and best students, I highly recommend him.

High level martial arts instructors, especially those who have travelled the country, continent and the world training in JKD, spend 10, 15, 20 years and tens of thousands of dollars developing their skills. They invest more years and more money than most Doctors and Lawyers do to reach the level they do. Why shouldn't they charge good money in return for teaching these skills to people? Every other professional in any industry does, why should professional martial artist instructors have to give their hard earned skills away for peanuts?

If you feel a class is outside of your budget then that's fine, don't train there. It doesn't mean they are expensive, it just means that you don't place the same value on martial arts instruction the other students who choose to train there.

Well if i feel a class is worth the money because of my value over martial arts I'd take my time to get the money to put towards it, regardless of how expensive.
I get what your saying and all, but I'm always or always have been putting money into classes which has me my background of different arts, and at the rate I put towards my passion and the gear and training equipment I sometimes wish that I was good friends who didn't have to pay for once, but I guess I'll have no choice but to check it out and see what i can come up with to evolve my own art....

My advice would be to go down to Richmond and meet the man personally. Take a free class. Then decide for yourself whether it's worth it to join.

I'll probably end up doing exactly, if everyone has nothing but good to say about him, I may as well check it out....
