tao of jkd is a compilation...

"who has read 'tao of jeet kune do'."

I have read it and found it to be a good introduction to the sources that Bruce used to compile the notes that were later put together by his estate and published as the tao of jkd.

Krishnamurti, Jack Dempsey's boxing text, various Judo texts.

      hm. I read it..

It's a great book. A good choice to keep in your bathroom, as I think that's the best way to read it.. No, not while crapping.. But in small spurts. (sounds like a poop joke itself)

I like it because it's great for reverse knowledge.. What I mean is, I read something in it about throwing a hook.. then I train as usual, not thinking about what I read much.... Several weeks/days/months later, I suddenly find I'm doing something I read in there.. and it feels good when I do it..And the books says thats right.. So I have the both inside and outside confirmation.

      So I say "ah..cool.."

If for nothing else, its a good example of how/why to keep a record of your notes while training. That informatin can really build up.
