      Whats pompus, my last two instructors don't cross train, I do, I walking my own path. more accurately and I will correct the profile. I practiced trained in every art I claim and still do with about half of them. The LAST 10 years I've crosstrained consistant. And thats why I have to walk my own path, because my best instuctors fight only in one range. Its enough for them. If I did clear it up, tell me. Im not going to misrepresent!
      AND THAT PROFILE LIMITS HOW MANY CHARACTORS YOU CAN TYPE.

        This has got to be one of the worst reads ever. You guys need to learn how to get to the point and post fun/interesting to read short posts.

        Half your posts were long boring penis measuring quotastic posts that were brain numbing to read. I really did try to read most of it because Im board at work but .. it was impossible.

        After all the reading I did do .. I have only come to one conclusion ... generally ignore any post by akja and ap Oweyn.

          i'll be honest with you, mate. based on this thread, i'd probably ignore me too. i was bored. and trying to fix that by getting embroiled in a discussion. got wrapped up in the debate. and ended up frustrated, annoyed with myself, and still bored.

          so ignore if you like. or go to KFO and have a look at my posts there. i like to think they're generally less insipid than this thread has been.

                      I tried to bow out, the thread sucked and I helped it get that way. BIG DEAL. You'll never know what I know, so why go there. You must be upset over what someone wrote over an electronic medium, and as far as my Sifu goes, they've been teaching in the garages (teh way Bruce taught them to) for 30 years since James Lee and Bruce Lee died and they don't deserve to be direspected on the merits of what the others from the Oakland school may have created. That was point that wasn't made clear, sorry. I don't even train with them anymore since they wanted me to train in 1 range. I train all ranges. I'm a student of a several traditional Karate and Jujitsu instructors as well as teaching and practicing Karate, Jujitsu and Gung-Fu. My JKD is pretty decent, but that dictate that I can't go back to the old masters for a higher learning. What my JKD does dictate is, that what I've been taught is mine, and how I interpet it is mine, and whoever I look to for Martial Guidance is "My WAY", Bruce Lee didn't say you can't go back to the old masters, he said you need to discover "your truth in martial arts", thats what I'm about. My system evolved from the Oakland JKD school, the direction I take it is my decision and my pursuits in martial arts is my interpetatation of my truth in martial arts and if you can't understand that, then why are you in a JKD forum? I may have a hard time coming across to people but,

                        Did I say I want to be respected? Is that why YOU log on is to have people respect you and your past teachers, sigungs or whatever you like to call them?

                        I don't log on here to be respected. I don't log on here to disrespect. I log on, speak freely, and read openly. That's about it.

                        I don't care if you go off on my teachers. I don't care if you go off on my momma, for that matter. And I sure as hell don't care if you respect me.

                        I am not typing because someone annoyed me on an electronic medium. I am sharing thoughts and dispelling myths, rumors and misinformation as I come across it.

                        And when did I EVER ask you to leave the forums? I'm just curious here.. You say "And I'm not leaving the forums..."

                        What on earth are you talking about?

                        And why are you so emotional? Does it do you any good in life to be so fragile and easily hurt? I doubt it. Why not learn to read what others say as simply what others THINK instead of getting your heart/brain/mind in a big uproar.

                        Words are words, buddy. All I did here was post what I think, in an open honest manner.

                        I didn't mention your sister or your brother. I didn't go off on your "sigung" once. I didn't say "Macias is a whipped pup" or anything worse, for that matter.

                        So what on earth are you so upset about?
