Yes, I know im posting a lot of philosophical debate questions, but i believe martial artists are artists of life, not just fighting techniques!
I want to hear your opinions on where we came from, how we exist, and why we exist, and i dont think you can call yourself an expressive human being without ever escaping the daily routine and thinking of these things.
In my life, albeit short so far, i have experieced many things and thought and pondered many things to do with the philosophy of life, not least questions about the universe.
I recently watched a film, K-Pax, i know it is just a flim, but it is an expression of a director, and someones views, so therefore i take the things mentioned seriously. I was surprised when at the end of the film it was stated that the universe expands, then contracts in on itself, and repeats this cycle forever, and that the same events happen each time this cycle occurs; the reason i was surprised is because after thousonds of hours thinking on this subject throughout my life, i had came to the same conclusion. i researched time, space, quantum physics etc, and concluded that time is inter related with space, and when one moves back through time, he moves back to the start point of the universe, thus assuring that the universe is one giant repeating play, rewinding and playing for all eternity. I also believe the universe was created by a paradox, (too hard to explain now, but its got my college philosophy teacher stumped, so it must be on the right track!!!)
ergo- there is no life after death, as when you die you are reversed and reborn just the same as in the first place.
I WANT SOMEONE TO PROVE ME WRONG, I HAVE NEVER HAD FEEDBACK ON THIS OPINION BEFORE, DESPITE HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE TOLD PEOPLE AND POSTED IT.
here are some questions that you may want to look into to further your knowlage, so tell me what you think and what your answers t these would be!
-----what are your emotions about this subject, i.e. how do ou feel that time will repeat itself and you will be TRAPPED in an eternal unconcious time loop?
-----do you believe paradoxes were created out of the universal drawing board, and therefore they do not have to conform to the rules of the universe?
-----where do you think the rules of the universe were created, and why? was it like a vacuum sucking particles into it, did the void suck its opposite (matter) into it so it could become equal, or did the void not exist without the matter, or vice versa?
-----most importantly, do you believe there is any way of changing the state of the universe, so time does not reverse itself?

In my opinion we should find these things out, we should research these things so we know whether we should research them or forget them, ignorance IS bliss, but knowing can be your soul mate or your murderer.
Please give me some feedback on what I have said, as i love philosophy, and i love knowing about life!
and i have not yet found anyone with like minded views as i! if i did, then man! we could have some heavy discussions!
