What does it matter anyhow what I was making when I was in the military Bi Bri? I probably make more money than you now anyway but I don't really care. I mean what do you do for a living Bi? I was kinda thinking you drive a septic truck around cuz you are always carrying so much sh@t with you.

Your falling down the scale again........... Thats in the same league as "poo off, wee weee knickers". But we all have to start somewhere.

$2,000 a month is less than half what I get. And I'm soooooo worth it.

I am not the one who said I made 2k a month. If you want to start some crap about who makes the most money we can I'll go first I make about 8k a month. Now go ahead Bi Bri.

People in the UK value their police force. Its a shame in the US, most people do not have faith in the police. The UK has tighter infrastructure and is more compact such that most distances are walkable and thus the police can walk the beat and be ready for a dispatch.

Major cities in the US are so spread out that police can't get the same concentration per capita as the UK.

              Thai Bri,

That was 2k take home in 1989 after 4 years. Not current take home. BTW, if you take home 4k a month good for you. You've been a police officer how long? Where I'm living the rookies start at $25k and go up. An officer with 15+ is at over $50k. I'm not an officer. I'm a mere craftsman paid by the job.

My pay (which I will not divulge) is in pounds sterling, not dollars. I have 17 years service, so I'm hardly a rookie. I am also of rank, so that ups the ante quite a bit too. Nowadays the rookies (or probationers as we call them) start on a much lower salary. But they can work their way up pretty quick.

When I joined the police in general had been given a massive rise. On my intake were men in their 30s who had joined and, even on probationers wages, were far better off than they had been in their previous careers.

Don't take offence at what I said. I was only winding the Falcon up. He isn't subject to the same considerations as nice people.

Damn, I should have known you were a cop cuz there aren't many cops I like. Actually there are only 2 I like and that is because I train with them. I should have known when you mention doughnuts in your signature that you were a cop.

Shouldn't you be out fighting crime or something or maybe sitting around at the local doughnut shop.

Okay, you are a 17 year officer in the supervisor ranks. Fine and dandy. That gets somewhere in the 40k lb sterling range. In Baltimore MD coin that's $140k range (that is one expensive town).

I only get offended when various screwballs start commenting on how little US Servicemen make compared to what they do (defend the country). That and whining about School Teacher's Pay.

But at least I really am what I say I am, Master Falcon. Or should I say Parakeet?

Look man, I am really getting bored with this shit. Like I told you if you wanna sit around and think I am a fraud.........DO IT.....I don't really give a damn what your doughnut eating has been ass thinks of me anyhow. You are like a little 4 yrs. old. Maybe you should go back to talking about martial arts instead of trying to accuse people that you don't even know of things that you don't even know are true or not. O, that's right I forget you don't know anything about martial arts so I guess it would be hard to add something to the conversation wouldn't it.
