Most christians dont really do what they are supposed to anyway. They had a great idea from jesus about peace, tolerance etc. Perhaps if they had followed those teachings they would have built a utopia. But no:

They keep the six day creation story (which is obviously just wrong)
They keep the "history" of their faith (although it is not exactly reliable)
They even say the prayers, tell the parables to their children.

But they dont actualy follow the important stuff. The stuff worth having has been lost.
