I'd have to respectfully disagree with gagi. If you're thinking of buying a fighter's notebook you might as well burn the money. Get Bruce Lee's 4 book set. Then if you want to learn grappling and have no place to train go to trsdirect.com and look at some of their videos.

Also realize that their is nothing out-dated about Bruce Lee's material. The recipe for modern JKD may be a little different but Bruce's material is the natural conclusion of distilling unarmed (meaning no gi or gloves too) combat techniques.
