Seals empty-hand

I was told that the majority of the hand to hand stuff that the seals trained in was so that they one at the bar, when some idiot decided that they wanted to beat up a navy seal.....that scenario seemed far more likely to me that any of these guys having to use it in the field.

Who cares about the seal?

Im not saying the selas arnt great, but theres also other great teams out there. Everyteam of elite soldiers have gotten their asses handed to them at some point. Look at Panama, the seal were slaughtered. Soldiers get killed no matter how great they are, and I have a huge respect for these guys, but just because a guy trained them dosnt mean hes all that great.

Lets see, who else has claimed such things?

Half the TRS dudes say they have done such things, and ALMOST everyone Ive seen has been a dissapointment.

Ive learned to fight from martial artist, bouncers, cops, RBSD instructors. And often they dont have the same "glorious" resume, but ill tell you what, what they are teaching works and is effective. Anyone can SAY something, its what they do that maters.

It's called using the wrong tools for the job. Taking down airports is a job usually tasked to the Rangers with some help of more specialized SF. The SEAL higherups wanted a part of the action and got their men tasked with a job they weren't trained for.
