What I said was that we were the ones that made the biggest difference in WW2, not Fairbairn, which history clearly shows. Anyone who doesn’t think so should show me statistics about how many Americans vs British troops were involved in the D-day landing or died in the whole conflict.

Yeah the British have made great contributions to the causes in the wars we’ve both fought, but you didn’t have the raw materials or the amount of troops that we did in the WW2.

I’m starting to think you might be one of the smart ones in the bunch, but still seriously deluded about the truth about Bruce Lee. That article I’ve read many times over the years, and all it says to me is that many traditionalists and especially Wong have spread a lot of rumors about that fight since Bruce’s death. You can go ahead and believe or think what you want, but just because some karate guy who definitely didn’t like Bruce’s downplaying of traditional arts, wrote an article about the fight doesn’t mean he really knows what happened. I can write an article claiming I was there and witnessed it, even submit it to Blackbelt magazine, but that doesn’t make it true.

The only people who know for sure have conflicting stories, so who are you going to believe, I would believe Linda before the rest she would be the one who would be the most honest about it, she knew Bruce wasn’t perfect, actually he had a lot of flaws, and he losing a fight wouldn’t be a big deal to her. She’s not going to lose anything if he’s not seen as a superman, she just wants to see the truth told. Nor do I care, I know he lost to somebody somewhere along the way, I just know it wasn’t Wong, it could have been close because they both sucked then anyway, but Wong still sucks. And you can’t truthfully say it was Wong who won unless you were there and if you were that judgement might be subjective at best and biased at the worst.

Its easy to say in your armchair dude, different kettle of fish when the call comes in and the plane to Iraq is on its way. Remember that many of the troops in Iraq didnt want to be there and only went coz they had no choice. I know of several Army men who went AWOL from their base before the war coz they were that against going.
