    The CHA3 tree By CHA3Kenpo - Tue, 26 Dec 2006 22:26:01 GMT

    =========

    Since I have joined I noticed that CHA3 is not talked about very much and there is not that many threads that even include CHA3. SOOOO as someone who practices this style I thought I would share the CHA3 as it goes until myself.

    I trained with Marino Tiwanak. It would not be correct to say Ed Parker was Senior to Marino or in some manner part of Marino's teaching lineage. You coud, of course, put Sonny (Adriano Emperado), as well as Joe Emperado, You could put Chow but only in the sense that he had any connection to Sonny. Mitose was there, of course, also.
    At the end of the 50's and beginning in the 60's, when I knew Marino, there was bad blood between him and Sonny for reasons I don't think we should discuss on a public forum. If you wish to know more look around for Smiley, Haime Abregano or Clarence Oki. They were friends of Marino's at that time and practiced with him as well.
