Taegeuk and Palgwe. We study them in pairs per belt level (e.g. white belt - kicho, yellow belt - Taegeuk Il Jang and Palgwe, etc.). Then there are the black belt forms; Koryo, Keumgang, Taebaeck, etc.

There was a website I once found that had the most extensive compilation of all the various Korean patterns, but I can no longer find it.

    Anyway, this might help...

Are you thinking of Master Mac's site? He's got video of the ITF (Chang Hon) forms, the WTF (Taeguk) forms, as well as Tang Soo Do and a couple Hapkido.

I study at a non-affiliated school that does the ITF forms.

Edit: Just visited the site you linked. It's getting bookmarked in my "favorites" list. I prefer the way that guy does the Chang Hon forms, without the over-exaggerated up and down motion used by the guy on Master Mac's site.

No, but your question led me to think a little harder about it until I remembered, here's the link; http://webpages.marshall.edu/~shroyer1/tkd/tkd0.html

I'll check out your link as soon as I have little more time (I'm on break right now).

          i study Ho-Am

it is becoming more americanized tho they have changed some of the forms to make them easier for the lower belt ranks

Our school practices the ITF Chang Hon patterns.

Here is an updated site of the (Shamelessly) Unofficial TKD Resource

I dont mean to be a jerk but Master Mac's site may have a lot of forms on video which is really cool but that girl who does them is TERRIBLE!!! Its embarrassing to watch and she ads in all of these moves that arnt even in the form in reality and does other moves totally wrong. Its stupid.

Does anyone know of a site with an expert who has supurb technique as well as demonstrating the forms FROM THE BOOK?

Thats how I like forms, totally textbook perfect with no add ins. Im trying to learn the ITF forms but I cant with Mac's site because I dont trust that girl to do them right.

The ITF forms on Master Mac's site are performed by Travis Young, not by a girl.

Edit: I went to explore Master Mac's site a bit more. You must be talking about the WTF "supplemental" Palgwe forms performed by Master Renee West. Those aren't the ITF forms.

If you are trying to learn the ITF forms, I prefer the site Osopardo cited (natkd) rather than Master Mac's site. The natkd videos don't use the excessively exaggerated up/down motion with each step as is done by Mr. Young on Master Mac's site.

                    Non Trashing Sites!

                    Dear Sir,

You may also wish to visit www.itf-information.com It is an "ITF" site however, it offers practitioners of all TKD styles and affiliations a nice place to speak on issues and techniques related to TKD. The site is very mature compared to several I have seen in the past (but just like any, it has it's days)!

Yes I think I was talking about the pal gea forms on an accident. I know all of those forms and I was unsure about a couple of moves on exactly how to do them because it was such a long time ago that I was doing the forms and that Renee whoever so called master totally does not help anyone in the entire world with forms. She only screws them up even more. She does them totally wrong and has the suckiest technique ive ever seen. Almost as bad as the female master where im from. Im just being brutally honest. Its pathetic that these people call themselves masters but they cant even do their forms good.

I am learning the ITF forms from some schools here where I am from. I know chun ji, dan gun, ton sol and won hyo. Also hwa rang and kwan gea.

                            Sir,

For reference you may also wish to visit Karateforums.com and Budoseek.net
They are general martial arts forums such as this site, but each offers either a TKD or Korean Arts specific forum!
