Spinning hook kick, spinning wheel kick and spinning back kick are all knockout kicks. The tourque you develop from it can make it more powerful than a thai round kick, but the kick is best left as a clever suprise from a combination of kicks (progressive indirect attack) or as a counter-attack - say your opponent throws a thai-kick, you move outside of path and counter right away with a spinning kick to the head

your opponent comes at you with a flurry of punches, you lean outside of a straight and your opponent runs into a spinning back kick.
