Thanks for the thread. These clips are a good example of just how spectacular a sporting art can be. The last clip was my favorite, it's a fine example of the level of commitment it takes to execute some of the most advanced kicking techniques in martial arts today.

No offense, just a matter of symantics. It never ceases to amaze me how making a compliment can end up in offending someone. You my friend are a prime example of whats wrong with TKD today. No humility.

The word martial de-notes that the art has lineage from a professional fighting class. I dont think TKD qualifies.

If this was directed at me, I've been misunderstood. I was mearly trying to respond to the original post with some level of sincere appreciation. I didn't expext anyone to take offense at tkd being called a sporting art or at my simple ommition of martial. The second post was an assinine attempt to defend ignorance with ignorance. And I appologize to tkd and anyone else.
