I'm going to have to use an analogy because I've never compared MT instruction in Thailand to anywhere else etc. Football, or soccer as you Americans wrongly call it, originated in Mercia/England as a village sport held in counties. If one was then to say therefore that England now as the best football team in the world you would be *very* sorely mistaken.

Now TKD is a good art, don't think the only thing that makes it a good art is if people say it is, i know a lot of TKD fighters and none of them has this........awful desire to make everyone think TKD can hold its own against anything.

Yes it can hold its own against ANYTHING the same as anyother art. You just need to force your opponent to fight your game. Yeh BJJ fighters have a huge advantage against TKD when it comes to the ground game but TKD has a huge advantage against BJJ standing up, especially long distance fighting.
