    Hi, I do Kuk Sool, I found this topic very interesting, good points! I have to say that redirecting your opponents energy is my favorite. Force against force hurts both of the people involved while redirecting energy only hurts your opponent, then you're good for another round.

        Redirection is good if you can read an opponents attack which is not always easy to do. I like the covering up styles of boxing and MT as I find I can quickly counter attack from an effective position.

        In reality it's better to hit first and keep on hitting until you win. Then all this blocking stuff becomes irrelevant!
