Yilmaz is a black belt in TKD, whom has fought decently in K-1. He lost a draw to Masato a few years back. In the above clip, he fights aggressively against a Japanese boxer and lands a few big kicks.

If its K-1 (I think it is), Yilmaz has about as many wins as he does losses (3W - 4L) so he's done so-so.

His losses are all by decision, so he's got heart and staying power. 2 of his 3 wins are by KO, so his kicks have power too.

As much as I hate McDojoism, this shows again its the artists that makes a good fighter, not the style.

This isn't real Taekwon-Do. It's sport TaeKwon-Do. A real TaeKwon-Do master would end the fight with one kick. Notice how he just swings his legs about like a thai boxer. That's hardly proper form. Real TaeKwon-Do teaches you to kick with the ball of the foot and chamber the kick for added power and technique. I saw none of that. Probably why his kicks lacked power. Luckily for him, he was fighting a boxer and so he could get away with the sport kicks he was doing. None of that stuff would work in a real fight. Pure sport focused!
