                  • Hmmm... depends on what exercise I'm doing I guess. Long consistent type exercises (Long distance running, skipping etc) I prefer more slow paced climactic music, usually a mixture of classical, ambient and prog rock:

Adagio for Strings, Op. 11 - Samuel Barber
Lux Aeterna - Ligeti (performed by Kronos Quartet)
Piano Concerto No. 2 - Rachmaninov
Last Spring, Op 34, No. 2 - Greig
Sigur Ross - Agaetis Byrjun(The Album)
                    Pink Floyd - Echoes
                    King Crimson - Starless

Would probably be the most common to be playing

When I'm doing more raw strength oriented work (weights), or things to get me psyched up before doing some intensive bagwork or the like, I'd be leaning towards (completely depending on my mood) anything ranging from Rage Against the Machine and Tool (they're as heavy as it gets for me ^_^), to decent teckno (meaning, not house... house is shit. Show me good house and I will retract this statement :P) along the lines of Drum and Bass (Pendulum ), Hardstyle, Hard Trance aswell as alot of electro (Mike Oldfield, Terry Riley).

                    Music is the ultimate motivator.

                          • Orbital - Hyclon on and on (The hackers title song)

It starts of clean and calming, then builds you back up.
