Tonight, Saturday October 25th in Temecula, CA, the police showed up in force to bust, what they thought was, Mark Hall’s ‘UFC style’ MMA event. The event was actually a PRIVATE PARTY that featured an AMATURE PRO WRESTLING demonstration

Upon the arrival of the police, the typical PRO WRESTLING PLAN went into effect, and various individuals in pro wrestling masks were deployed. Some spectators may have enjoyed me as the ‘Mouth of the South’ type pro wrestling manager. The police did not buy into this.
Mark Hall was placed under arrest for holding an unlicensed event and now faces multiple charges including holding an un-permitted event. This charge in particular carries a mandatory $25,000 fine.
I was brought into the CFF office and informed that if I did not assist with helping to peacefully disburse the crowd that had been invited to Mark Hall’s PRIVATE PARTY, THE ENTIRE CROWD IN ATTENDANCE would have been placed under arrest for an AIDING AND ABETTING type of offense.
With no other option offered, I personally made the announcement that the PRIVATE PARTY had been canceled by the police and no one would be permitted to remain on the premises.
A big thanks to all for being extremely understanding. Every one vacated politely and without incident.
As I personally left Mark Hall, already under arrest, was in hand cuffs and placed into the back of a marked police cruiser.
No matter what you think of Mark Hall, he has been there in NHB right from the beginning. From his humble beginnings as an alternate in the UFC, to UFC undercard featured fighter, to being featured as the main event in multiple fights in Japan... Mark Hall lives and breathes NHB and never steps down from a fight.
He has provided introductory and B level events for many NHB fighters to get their feet wet, and many that have started in Mark Hall’s events have gone on to fight in many other larger events and even in the UFC.
Furthermore, I have personally seen Mark Hall’s balance sheets after each and every one of his events. And he commonly brings in profits of $ 1,500.00 and less per show. Keep in mind that is often for over 3 months of work for each event.
As the head judge Mark Hall has often attempted to pay me $100 for my assistance at his various events. I have consistently refused payment for more than the last 10 fights because of Mark’s terrible financial state after his shows.
Mark Hall deserves our respect and support to help him triumph over his current difficulties. It’s disappointing to see something like this happen to such an extremely nice guy and NHB brother.
NOTE: This event was a private party with admission NOT AVAILABLE to the general public.
