if you want, i can send you my home vids! I'll be rolling around with my gf, almost the same.. :P

But seriously speaking, vids may be a nice addition to an instructor.. but vids alone? i would never count on it.. the small things, the little flaws you have, no video can fix those.. ! that is my view anyway.. but I'm lucky, living in the bjj mecca of europe.. :P

Mario's videos are great, or at least the vale tudo series, whisch is the only one I have. I especially like his "chronological" approach to teach fighting.

          Mario Sperry

I'm going to play devil's advocate and beg to differ. I'm seen most of Sperry's videos and can tell you that he rely's on strength a lot. So unless your built like him you're gonna have problems with the techniques.

Not true, I am 155 pounds and rarely have the opportunity to rely on strength. I have never had any problems executing his techniques when I use them. Granted, I don't use a lot of them being that I am a straight up GJJ man, but when I do I have never had any problems.

They are all really good. It is hard to decide. But, the guard passes are better I guess. Passing the open guard is really good since people love using the lame ass spider guard to stall.

All of Mario's tapes are great. I have all of his Vale Tudo tapes as well as his submission wrestling series. They are some of the best instructionals I've seen as far as strategy and 'game'.

Groundfighter.com has some pretty good sales on right now, take advantage of them.

As far as Mario's guard tapes, his series two guard tape is far superior to the guard tape in series one. A lot more techniques and better strategy. His first guard tape is really good though.

I was referring to Mario's Vale Tudo series 2. He has three Vale Tudo tape sets......1, 2, and three.

I'm not sure what tape set this thread is about.
