Good point...I should sue Marlboro for screwing up my priorities "IF it wasn't for Marlboro, I may have been able to vent more sexual frustration! I'm asking $10,000,000."
But seriously, cigarettes were more important b/c I couldn't have a chick, if I couldn't have a smoke afterward

Speaking of suing for wrongful use of a lame idea, have you heard of the fat people suing McDonalds for making their food fattening and addictive? Ha, ha, ha

P.S. I'd give you kick-backs, no prob. Pennies on the dollar.

Oh man, you can't be afraid to shoot. You'll never get anywhere that way. Learning to recover from an attempt that didn't work out is absolutely essential.

Does your coach do the following drill? If not, tell him about it and see if he's interested in adding it. If he's not, hang around after practice (if you are not the first to arrive and the last to leave, you are not gonna reach your potential) with a bud and work on it.

          Two-man drill.
One man is on knees, back straight, facing foward, hands clasped behind the back.
Second man is standing, knees straight, facing the partner, hands clasped behind the back.
First man's shoulders are in contact with second man's legs (I guess that depends on how tall each one is)
At the whistle, both men attempt to gain most advantageous position. Continue until someone has scored, or contact has broken.

Variations can lend an advantage to one or another in many ways to work on defense/offense skillls for both men.

You must work on finishes, recoveries, and defenses until you are completely comfortable in any range of the attempt.

Then, see my previous comments about 1 to 7.

Keep shooting, and you'll get there eventually (it really helps to be in better shape than your opponent!)

          • Tell you what I'll be aggressive today at practice. If it doesn't work i'll go into my little corner and cry

            • That's the spirit! (kinda)

Remember, "aggressive" doesn't mean reckless. Be aggressive in setting up your shots, finishing, or recovering if it doesn't work out.

              • I also forgot to ask, what stances do you guys prefer/use?

                • That's a pretty individual thing, but the staggered stance is more commonly employed, I believe

                  • What's the staggered stance?

                    • The stance that puts your lead leg forward.

                      • Just a lil update. I can now regularly pin the second years.I'm also starting to develop movements of my own and have mastered the hip toss.

P.S.:I was watching smallville the other day(yes i'm one of the "gay mofos" that watch it) and i could've sworn i saw rigan machado. It was in the beginning of the episode where this Corrupt cop knows Clark's secret and is planning on using that information against him for his own devious lil plans.

                                Very good plan.

Speed, power, anticipating the whistle. A really good stand up can give you psych points over your opponent.

Ah, I remember when I was a wee lad (many years younger than you are now) practicing the stand up millions of times...
