I know how to do it. It is just that I am not sure which is the correct way, right arm goes around grabs shoulder, or the one where i bend my right elbow and put it below the shoulder.

Hum...
All right. Ippon seoi nage.
The throw is actually quite difficult to pull off against a skilled opponent, and has to be set up strategically. I used to pull it off well when I would feint a forward reap and get my opponent to push back towards me to reclaim his balance.
seoi nage is performed by first breaking your opponent's balance forward. To perform the throw, box step or pivot your hips directly in front of your opponent's while simultaneously snapping your rear arm up and under his armpit. He should already be going over at this point if your footwork and balance breaking is good. You then throw him by turning your torso to the side, (not straight over) while "punching" forward with the arm that is under his.
This gives you a powerful throw, but the main technique comes from the ability to get your center of gravity lower than his at the time he is being pulled onto your back and shoulder.
It's hard to explain on the net. I'll post some pics if you'd like, but the best bet is to go over it with an experienced judo coach.
Take care,
Ryu

Ryu is correct. You'll learn the throw early in Judo but it will be a while before you can pull it off against more advanced people.
Right now I can't pull off any throws on more advanced people that have me turning my back on them. You have to really have it down to do it.
The only throw I can do on more advanced people is o soto gari, and my way of doing it is more like a takedown.
