    Dan,
I am sorry dude. that is bad news since I know that have the heart of a warrior and you've just been told that you can't train anymore.
    But........
Doctors have been wrong and if you want something bad enough, in your case to keep training, then try another doctor. Don't give up.

    Karl-
    you're calling me a Wuss?!!!

maybe I should tell all here about..................
    (heh heh)

Hey,Thanks guys.I would have some hope, but this isnt the first time I have broken something in my neck.It really is toast.
I have been wrestling with it for awhile. It burns all the time and I am in constant pain. But,I thought I could live with it.
I knew I was going to have to quit, but I never thought it was all that serious.
But,when the Doc shows pure panic at the thought of me grappling ,with the possability of permenent injury I gotta listen.I still have 20 years of work left in me before I retire. So,I guess I am going to try and slow down.

I guess this means i wont be comming up to work out. Allthough the thought of 2 gereatric geezers rolling sounds pretty funny. Sorry as hell dude, i was looking forward to meeting you and playing with you. I have a ton of fuc*ked up body parts as well so i understand. It sucks getting old. We could get together, get loaded and talk about back in the day though. I'll e-mail you ltr, and good luck Dan.

              Hey Dan:

I wonder if you can train with one of those cervical collars they put on you by the paramedics.

Eeeeeeh, sorry, just another lame attempt at humor.

                Hey don't laugh.

If I couldn't train BJJ I would take up one of those stand-up arts like jujutsu or hapkido minus the throwing.
