This man may be the true "World's Most Dangerous Man"....
"seriouly i would like to fight shimora for the internet fighter world titel, and beathim and chop of his fingers and hang them on the mirror of scooter " Duchman at The Choke Zone forum.
Second of all, hey Sean are you that former bodybuilder who used to box with "Durango Kid". If it is you, I respect you and you were pretty cool. Actually all the guys there were pretty cool but you I remember especially. Are you still training with Nick? What about the other guys there? Is the same group still training? Tell Nick I said hello.
Well, I enjoyed training in BJJ and the reason I stopped is because I started to train in boxing again, plus my money situation is a little bad right now. I would like to one day resume my BJJ training with Nick, but it won't be until later on down the road. If you're interested I have an amateur heavyweight fight scheduled in the area Saturday, December 16th if you wanted to watch. I'll keep you posted.
Now......
You say that no pure boxer would beat a NHB fighter.
I agree. But you have to admit that not all "pure" grapplers could beat a boxer. After all it's the same thing, isn't it? There are virtually NO "pure" grapplers in NHB. Most grapplers work on some standup, strike defense, and ways to clinch when faced with striking. Do you think Kerr would've done as well if he didn't learn some standup or strike defense? I think not.
And another thing, there has never been in the history of NHB a good solid boxer. Never. And there never will be, simply because (no offense to Nick) no good pro boxers will ever fight for the chump change that NHB fighters make. That's the truth. The closest thing NHB has ever seen to Tyson is Vitor Belfort. Belfort didn't make the Brazillian boxing team! Brazil isn't exactly the 'home of boxing champions' now is it? You can't say boxers would do bad in NHB just because you see wannabe or washed up boxers getting beat. And besides NHB is the BEST grapplers vs. the WORST strikers. Now imagine the best boxers vs. the worst grapplers...things would turn out different.
And Sean you say you box. How many fights have you had? What guys do you spar? I haven't seen you at any of the amateur shows? I'm not questioning you it's just that if you consider going to the gym and hitting the bag once in a while and sparring every blue moon, that doesn't mean you box. It means you're familiar with boxing, which you obviously are. That's like me saying "I'm a BJJ player" because I trained at Nick Sanzo's for 6 weeks. You guys would laugh your asses off if I ever said that. Until you've sparred with Golden Glove champs, pros, heavyweights and experienced fighters, you can't really say you box. Again, I'm not questioning you, I would just like to know.
You also said that in a boxing match, there are atleast 15-20 clinches. True. But you can't use that as a basis for saying "all fights end up on the ground". That's BS. The reason there are 15-20 clinches is because the fighters have gloves on, if they didn't have gloves on, the punches would have more effect which means you couldn't just go and "hug" you opponent every time you get tired. Do you think if boxers fought bare knuckle these days, fights would be long enough for there to be a clinch? I think not.
Besides tough boxers have better 'chins' than tough NHB fighters, so that argument is pointless. Also, boxers are just punching, not fighting NHB. If they were fighting NHB they would be cautious of punches, kicks, takedowns, etc. That's like saying two kids are in a high school wrestling match and during a neutral position, one kid hits the other kid with a straight right and KO's him. Yeah he knocked him out, but the other kid wasn't expecting punches, if he were, he would alter his reactions and his movements.
You also say, it's easy to take down a boxer. Well, what boxers have you fought on the street or in the ring? And if you did take down boxers I seriously doubt that they were of the athletic ability of Roy Jones or Mike Tyson.
You also stated that you invite me to your dojo to show that boxers could easily get taken down. You have to elaborate more on your challenge. Are you challenging me to a NHB fight, streetfight...what? You have to be more clear. Let me know what you want to do and I will respond immediatly. I also invite you to my gym and we could have a good old fashioned boxing sparring session. You could even use leg kicks if you want. Don't worry, you wont have to go through a weapons search!

Jim, Fisrt of all Tell me to shut the **** up again and were going to find out what your made off. Your the colonie fagot if you ask me. Maybe you don't remember me from Jiu-Jitsu but if you want I'll jog your memory for ya!!!!
All I said was you would except the challange. Don't get all pissy at me. If you want to tell me to shut the **** up come say it to my face. Colonie CRUSHER
Hey Colonie Crusher, I think you've got way to much testosterone pumpin through yer vains bro! Not that it's a bad thing. Even if you used to be a pro boxer there probably at least a couple of guys on this forum that could kill you in a street fight. Not to say I'm any better, MOST of the guys on this forum could probably kill me. So maybe you should stop talking trash on the net. No offense intended.
First off, what 'Jay' are you? There were 800 Jay's at Nick Sanzo's. There's three of them that remember. One is real big, was in the Marines and has alot of tattoos, one is also real big and has alot of tatoos and has a shaved head, and there was another Jay that was short and had brown hair. Not that it matters, but which one are you?
Second, don't think you're gonna come on here, start shit with me, and intimidate me. It aint gonna ****ing work. I'm not afraid of anybody. I'm not saying I can beat the world, but I'm not gonna take shit from nobody. You understand that? You said that I was getting all pissy with you. Well you were the one that came on here starting the shit saying I would never accept Seans challenge. What challenge did he even make? From what I read it was nothing more than a friendly little grappling session where he wanted to prove I could be taken down. And than you call me the colonie faggott. And than you tell me to say all this to your face. Well the same goes for you jack, if you're gonna say shit say it to my face like a real ****in' man. If you ever had a problem with me you should've confronted me all those times you saw me at Nicks, not over the internet. I don't play internet games. As for Sean, I always thought he was cool so I'm not gonna say a bad word about him.
Hey PassiveGuy, I am nowhere near a pro boxer. Not even close. I'm just starting to get back into the amateurs, I hope to one day be pro, but that's a long way's away. And you say that I am on here talking shit. Well it's the opposite, all I am doing is defending myself to people who come on here and talk shit to me. I didn't start anything, but I'm not gonna take it from people.

For the record Passive Guy,Colonie was never a pro boxer. He is still a novice fighter(under 10 bouts).
Colonie: If your ready the 16th why didn't you just make the trip to the Pals on the 10th. You really think that a few days would have made that much difference?
To tell you the truth, Big Bird, I don't even know I'm ready for the 16th. My trainer told me that the kid I'm fighting is 2-5 and seeing that I have good power, I will atleast have a punchers chance. This will be my first fight in 2 years, so I'm a little bit nervous but come fight time that all goes away. My trainer doesn't want me to go open until I get some more fights under my belt. As for the PAL's, I'm simply just not ready. My goal is to win the novice New York and Vermont Heavyweight Golden Gloves title this year.
