You're a moron!

You are just too stupid to even understand any of what has been said on this thread.

The whole argument with you is about NOTIFACATION!!! You claim to run an open tournament and don't invite anyone from outside!

You're then asked to pass on our contact information to your Master, but you don't!

So don't come on here and open up a 9 month old thread and go over the same shit again and again. Get someone you like to sit down with you and go through this thread and explain it all too you.. Please. As you are constantly missing the point of our protests and your ignorance is offensive in the extreme.

I know you wont read this or understand it but hey it's worth a crack.

Oh and no I had no one at the 4th BJJ comp and Mel was the only person who entered this one. The rest didn't want anything to do with a comp run by anyone who encourages ignorant morons like you to promote it!

• Did I mention you're a moron?

Not sure if I did.

If I didn't let me say it now.

You are a moron.

Ok?

In fact I'm pretty sure if you are who I think you are, you fought one of our guys - how did you get on?
This is the only team tha got Gold and Silver:
<70kg faixa branca 1º Daniel Digby(TCMA) 2º Adam Bradleigh(TCMA)
I did not meet any TCMA.

No you're supposed to keep your mouth shut because you ignorant and stupid thats all.

If I spent $700 on a venue I would bend over backwards to get as many people there as I could. I wouldn't send a moron on to an unrelated site to post stupidity...

Simply informing us early would have brought in more money for "Master" Santos, so don't bitch about that as well.

I actually thought you were Geoff from WLG.
His website did mention about last year comp?

It seems that we still have the same problem:
You and your friends are rude.
I am not ignorant and stupid.
To me, it sounds like you are not given enough notice prior competition and therefore it is NOT fair.

Wellingtons original BJJ school for over 25 years we’ve taught BJJ to 1000s of Wellingtons residents. Our school is unique that’s why we’ve stood the test of time.

Ok, I must ask, pls do not get offended:
How much do you charge for BJJ class?
How much do you charge for competition?
I am not in charge in promoting or selling the competition:
to be fair we had 60 participants which is a good start for NZ.
Please remenber, I was just an over-zealous participant promoting the event that unfortunely stepped on your toes!

My friends and me are desperately trying to get the point across to you but you can't understand English so we hope you are taking note by being intentionally antagonistic.

Oh my God... Is this finally progress?? The whole issue we have is exactly that! Not enough notice.

x NO ONE is saying an open tournament is a bad thing. EVERYONE agrees it is a good thing, and the more clubs involved he better.

x NO ONE is saying they have a problem with you promoting it on this forum.

What we are saying is that
1. to make the Open Tournament even better, lets make sure we get all the relevent information out to all the clubs at the right time to ensure maximum participation.
2. Douglas is running the tournament and that is to be applauded. But just because he runs it, and he is a black belt, and he comes from brazil, doesn't mean that every other club should switch their allegience to him.

If we can all agree on those two points, then we're on the same page and can call this somewhat heated discussion a success.
JUNE LAST YEAR and you only just got it? You did just get it didn't you? That is what you ment by this>>

No that doesn't offend.

I charge $50 per month. That’s 4 BJJ classes and 2 Submission Grappling / MMA classes. Thats about $2 a class

I charged $25 entry for our competition and gave $100 cash and prizes to the winners of each division. I also brought in one of our Will / Machado Black Belts to help run the comp.

60 participants is great, but wouldn't 80 or 100 be even better? I have over 50 members in my BJJ school with enough time to arrange flights and accommodation many would like to have competed.

Far out you are an angry person as per your website:
"As master Santos has no access to the net I am posting the results from his competition held in Auckland in March. BJJ NZ is in no way associated with Master Santos and the tournament was run solely by him and his students. By all accounts it was a great day and a well run competition. Congratulations to Master Santos and his students for their efforts."
I never read so much bad vibe in so little sentences.

I simply didn't want to take any of the glory for running the comp. Gave full credit to Master Santos but you read something completely different.

You're perception is what is causing all this rubbish.

$50 per month is unlimited classes, it is very good.
On top of it I think your club mats (spaces) is awesome as per website pictures.

I am intrigue with the Ground Control team.
Where are they based?
They came early in the morning (meaning outside Auckland) and all were JUDOGI instead of the usual BJJ GI.: very good fighters overall!

Judo mats are from a club that uses the facility 1 night a week, we are in after the Kyokushin Karate school trains. Yes it's a fantastic facility.

Aristeia can answer that better than I, but, they are Auckland based. They have only recently enbraced BJJ over all their other training, mainly Aikido. They have really only been training out of a garage (just like the early Gracie's did). SO their classes are only just picking up witht he new year. Also explains the Judo style Gi's.

You got to be joking:
Excuse me but for being offended by all the nasty remarks I am getting.
The biggest problem is that I am from the Brazilian Top Team and you have your own association. So we became rivals automatically!
We both care about BJJ in NZ.
I was just a naive person about the subject but not stupid.
I left TMA because of such problems about affiliations and I did not expect to get such responses/attitudes with the BJJ scene in NZ:.
I guess I am a naive person!
